Letryp's entry to Modern Ruin is in all senses of the word, a "Crossover". The opening track paces at juke tempo - but grandly demonstrates jazz influences throughout.

Groove is Letryp's strength. "Let Me Hit It" is a meticulous breakbeat groove, adorned effectively and interestingly with an addictive vocal and detuned piano keys toward a tension-filled conclusion.

"Move Operator" utilizes the funkiest of samples on a mellow juke groove, supplanted by interesting melodic combinations and sequences.

The surprise of the lot is "In The Heat", which is an ode to techno in an uptempo sense. Showcasing versatility, Letryp rounds this debut release in fine form.
